Toto has been feeling under the weather for the past few days.  I can’t believe that it has been over 4 months since his amputation and over 5 months since he was diagnosed with cancer.  Most of those days have been happy days for us.  But this week, Toto has had an upset stomach.  He has had more than a few accidents and he kept me up most of Tuesday night because I was worried about him.  I am hoping that it is just a bug or something he ate.

I didn’t give Toto his Rimadyl today because I don’t want to upset his stomach anymore than it already is.  I have been making a lot of rice for Toto.  I think it is helping.  His stomach seems to be settling, but he was very lethargic this morning.  I was worried leaving him when I went to work, but I came home and he seems more like himself again.  That’s a relief.  Hopefully he will be back to normal by this weekend…  I hate to see the little guy sad.

Toto – I was just thinking of you tonight when I mentioned you to Tehya and Harley. I hope you feel better soon, little guy!!

We forgot to tell the tiny Yogi, a new tripawd, about you when she was asking about small tripawds. I think you qualify.

    Hey Toto,
Have you talked about using pepcid with your vet? Maggie is dealing with some issues not related to her cancer and has not been wanting to eat. She has done better now that I have her on pepcid again.
I hope he keeps feeling better.

    Hi Toto’s Mom,

How is Toto feeling today? Has Toto had his liver enzymes checked recently? Most vets do a baseline before starting NSAID treatment, then another check a few months later… just to make sure there aren’t any problems.

When Jake started vomiting after his Previcox or Metacam… the vet also had me give him Pepci AC and it miraculously did the trick! If it didn’t work, they were going to add carafate to the mix… but Jake didn’t end up needing it.

I really hope your sweetie is feeling better soon…
